Feile Lughnasa 2025 25-28 July.
Welcome to our Celtic festival of Féile Lughnasa. Lughnasa is a harvest festival, which dates back over two thousand years to the Celtic period in Ireland. On the last Sunday of July, people climb the most important mountain tops in Ireland, Croagh Patrick and Mount Brandon, to attend ceremonies. In Cloghane and Brandon, Lughnasa is celebrated on the last Sunday of July known as Domhnach Crom Dubh or Crom Dubh Sunday. This festival was later adapted by the Early Christians and it became associated with St. Brendan.
This family fun festival has something for everyone; tug of war, art classes, hillwalking, quizzes and much much more!
Many thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers who have helped to make Féile Lughnasa possible.
