There is no better way to immerse yourself in the community and spirit of Cloghane-Brandon than by attending one of our festivals; for example, Feile Lughnasa. This takes place each year on the last weekend of July and has its origins in a traditional celtic harvest festival that dates back over 2,000 years. The festival is set against the spectacular views of Mount Brandon and combines a mixture of music, drama, poetry, family fun day, art exhibitions , blessing of the boats, guided walks and street parades.
