WALKING TRAIL
Sás Creek Loop Walk
- 12 km / 7.5 miles
- 3-4 hours
- Moderate
This is a spectacular walk around Sás Creek featuring dramatic, high cliffs surrounding a U-shaped coastal inlet.
The walk will be of interest to bird watchers, as a large number of Choughs – members of the crow family who are distinguishable by their red beaks and legs – can often be seen. It is important to note that the cliffs at Sás can be dangerous – wire fencing marks off land areas which are susceptible to subsidence. Dogs are prohibited from this route, even on leads and do not attempt to descend into the creek itself. Car parking and trail boards with full information are situated at Teer and Brandon Point.
